1. Combing your wet hair
One of the most damaging things you can do after taking you shower is combing your hair while it’s still wet!
Wait for a couple of minutes before combing your hair, until it dries. Tying your hair up when it’s wet is big no no. Your hair is weakest when wet, let it dry completely then style to perfection.
2. Loosen up that pony tail.
Although it is nice and pretty to add some accessories to your hairstyle, when you’re putting the hair in a ponytail, clips, or headbands you are pulling the hair in the opposite direction of hair growth, risking snapping or stretching your hair. Give your hair a break, not breakage.
3. Keep your cool.
Try to avoid using heating tools like straighteners and curling irons every day.
Extreme heat will destroy your hair and damage the ends!
4. Part ways.
Change your hairstyle! Believe it or not, just switching up the way you part your hair can decrease stress on the follicles.
