‘’  You may have the entire Universe if I may have Italy’’ Giuseppe Verdi

I say you may have the entire Italy if I may have Milan.  I always love to explore new cultures and new countries but in Milan, I see the entire Universe is resting in Milan under the sunset of Palazzo de’ Arte.

For those who haven’t been there, they missed a lot.  Milan is recognized internationally as one of the world’s most important fashion capitals along with Paris, New York City, London and Tokyo.  As one of the most influential fashion grounds to every designer, I was invited to a fashion week for Gucci Spring/Summer 2014 men’s collection.  Luckily, among the celebrities who attended the fashion show was the actor and director James Franco. I was overwhelmed by his humble character and how talented he is to be part of all the process, which is something compared to his age.

One thing led to another, the fashion show turned to an amazing success, you can see from the look on our faces as audience. We were amazed by the sophisticated design and textile. Have a look!

Gucci never ceased to amaze us with its trend every year. Some of the new trend is the leather and floral blazers. The silent floral is in the collection as well. Colors are olive green, Beige and black. I loved every single piece.

While i was getting off the show, i bumped into a very stylish woman dressed in a masculine style but very elegant. I loved the look on her and i was amazed by her well matching colors. Take a look!

Now that the trip came to an end, i was too sad to leave this amazing Gucci fashion show but i was too happy to go back home.

Meet Narciso Rodriguez in NYC

A true Newyorker is someone who has a sense of fashion and taste of fragrance. Narciso Rodriguez is one of the foremost American designers during the last decades, he plays a very important role in fashion globally. Just as Anna Wintour says,” No one but Narciso has ever made a simple line look more stunning.”  I had the pleasure to meet him in person and to discuss in details about the fragrance. I was overwhelmed by the majority of people who attended the live presentation about Narciso’s new fragrance and it is basically launched specially for Middle-East. It’s known that Narciso’s launched his first fragrance, For Her in conjunction with Shiseido’s Beaute Prestige International Brand in 2003. The men’s companion, For Him was launched in 2007.

”I have 18 Perfumes in our fragrance base, the earliest edition was created in 2004 and the newest is this year.” he says Narciso Rodriguez. He added, ” Narcico fragrances are made in collaboration with perfumers Alberto Morillas, Christine Nagel, Francis Kurdjian and Aurelien Guichard.”

Our night came to an end, but it was very educational and inspiring to take Narciso Rodriguez’s perspective in Fragrances. I had a great time meeting well known public figures in NYC as well. ”I LOVE NYC”

Travel for Leisure

Have you ever traveled with people who take up to 4-5 luggages. Also, who wear uncomfortable shoes and when the security asks them to remove their shoes, they act speechless as if it is not something they are expecting.

When you travel, bear the thought that some unpleasant old security procedure is going to decide the type of clothing you should wear before traveling. This day is crucial to prepare ahead of time, therefore always make time to decide which clothes to wear and which to avoid packing. Take a look at the type of clothes you need to wear during the day of traveling.

Avoid wearing sandals or open toe shoes because you wouldn’t know how many feet were there on same spot as you. You can’t count them so avoid all the germs  unless you take private plane jet, that would be a different story.

Make sure all your  luggages have one pattern or brand or color. The last thing you need to spend extra hours looking for your bags and whether you remember the colors or not. Don’t forget usually most luggage look the same, especially if they have same price.
